According to Wikipedia, a pothole is a "structural failure in a road surface." Just as potholes can slow a driver's                                     speed and even cause damage to the vehicle, students often experience "potholes" in their academic structure.                                  Potholes may be life events that makes learning difficult for a period of time and may require strong coping or                                     problem solving skills. Often during the month of April, students experience stress as they face end-of-year                                         assessments and completon of assignments. Whatever the problem may be, students sometimes need to                                             "slow down" and discover ways to to move on to reach their academic success.
